Schroeder, Maundrell, Barbiere & Powers is a team of eleven experienced trial counsel located in suburban Cincinnati.  SMB&P was formed in 1994 to provide insurers, corporations, individuals, school districts, government entities, and government employees, with personalized, high-quality civil litigation services.

SMB&P represents clients before state courts throughout the Midwest, as well as federal courts within the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Federal Judicial Circuits. Six of SMB&P’s trial attorneys hold an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.  The attorneys at SMB&P have over 240 years of experience providing clients with first-rate trial advocacy.  SMB&P quickly identifies and resolves cases that should be compromised and aggressively litigates those that should be tried.

SMB&P attorneys have extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. In addition, members of the firm instruct on practice related topics at seminars attended by clients, insurance industry professionals, and attorneys and serve on the boards of municipal, charitable, and non-profit organizations.
